Cancellation Policy
1. rfynd Wellness Essentials
Subscription Services
1.1 Subscription Plan Cancellation:
- 3 Subscriptions: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the following 3 month. If you cancel within 7 days of the next billing cycle, you will be charged for the next 3 month, and your subscription will end the after the subsequent 3 month period.
- 6 Month Subscriptions: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the following 6 month. If you cancel within 7 days of the next billing cycle, you will be charged for the next 6 months, and your subscription will end the after the subsequent 6 month period.
- Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. However, no refunds will be provided for the remaining period of the annual subscription.
1.2 Refunds:
- Refunds are not provided for rfynd Wellness Essentials subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the services until the end of your current billing period.
1.3 Service Modifications:
- Any modifications to your subscription (such as changing the type of plan) must be requested at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. The new plan will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
2. Weight Loss Medication
Subscription Services
2.1 Subscription Plan Cancellation:
- Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel your monthly medication subscription at any time. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the following month. If you cancel within 7 days of the next billing cycle, you will be charged for the next month, and your subscription will end the subsequent month.
- Medically unfit for the programs: whilst the medical evaluation aims to identify appropriate candidates for the rfynd medication programs, some clients may experience side-effects which prohibit for the ongoing use of such medications. This is the case at the discretion of the medical team will cancel your subscription. For clients who become pregnant we will also cancel the subscription and the medications rfynd uses for weightloss are not appropriate during pregnancy.
2.2 Refunds:
- Refunds are not provided for the weight loss medication subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to receive your medication until the end of your current billing period.
2.3 Medication Changes:
- Any changes to your medication plan must be discussed with your healthcare professional. Please contact our support team to assist with the process. Changes will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
3. Weight Loss Surgery
3.1 Discovery program appointments:
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation as part of the Discovery Program, please notify us at least 3 working days in advance. If you cancel within 3 days you are entailed to re-book. You are entitled to 2 appointment cancellations for any of your appointment with the surgeon, dietitian or psychologist. If cancel more than three times, your program will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund.
3.2 Surgery Program Cancellation:
- The surgery package needs to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the surgery date. This is to secure a surgery allocation at rfynd affiliated private hospitals. This is fully refundable up to 14 days prior to surgery.
- At times privates hospitals cancel surgeries due to any number of internal issues, such as staffing numbers, for example. If rfynd, or any of it’s affiliated hospital cancels, you be allocated another surgery date at the next available time. Rfynd is not liable for any material losses incurred by cancellation due to our affiliated private hospitals.
- Within 14 Days of Surgery: If you cancel your surgery within 14 days of the scheduled date, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total surgery program cost may apply.
3.3 Refunds:
- Refunds for canceled surgeries will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation request. Any applicable fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
3.4 Rescheduling Surgery:
- If you need to reschedule your surgery, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Rescheduling within 14 days of the surgery may incur additional fees.

4.3 Compliance with New Zealand Consumer Law:
- This Cancellation Policy is in compliance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA) in New Zealand. We are committed to ensuring your rights as a consumer are protected.
